PINNACLE PETS

We are a family owned business, owned and operated from our Family Farm in the beautiful Yarra Valley ~ Dixons Creek.

In the 1940's .. Grandpa Hudson purchased a large parcel of land in Dixons Creek which he divided into three properties. He put each property into the names of his three sons. Our father, the eldest son, ran the 3 properties as a working farm: he mostly farmed sheep, cattle and pigs and used the meat to live on, sold the young and wool for his income, and shared his skills to locals. He also ran poultry and trained working dogs. He married our mother and they had two children.

The middle son continued to live in the Family Home in Pasco Vale caring for Grandma Hudson after Grandpa Hudson passed away. After years of working with his father as a stone mason, he continued the trade for many years after his father passed away. He sold his property and purchased another property in a remote fishing location. He never married nor had children.

 The youngest son went to university, met the love of his life, had 3 children of his own and travelled the world. Whilst busy doing all of this, he then built the family home on his property provided by his father next door to our fathers property.

As our father (the eldest) aged, the property became more and more run-down. Then when the 2009 fires went through .. he'd pretty much given up. Three years later he passed away. I, the eldest daughter of the eldest brother, returned to the Family Farm and began to rebuild it. Now, in 2019, the Pinnacle Pets Farm is becoming a working farm once again.
